A high school student shot and killed an assistant principal in Jacksboro, Tenn., Tuesday afternoon.

A high school student shot and killed an assistant principal in Jacksboro, Tenn., Tuesday afternoon.

Two other administrators - the principal and an assistant principal - were seriously wounded. Police arrested the student.

Campbell County High School has an enrollment of about 1,400 students. Jacksboro is in eastern Tennessee, some 30 miles northwest of Knoxville.

No students were injured, and they were safely evacuated onto buses, reported school district officials.
