Bomb hits Sri Lanka train station

Dozens injured as suicide bomber detonates bomb on train platform.

At least eight people were killed and as many as 100 injured when a suicide bomber set off an explosion at a rail station in the Sri Lanka capital of Colombo.

Police said the female bomber set off the blast as a train pulled up to the station platform Sunday.

On Monday, Sri Lanka celegrated the 60th anniversary of its independence from Great Britian.
