Bridge collapse kills at least 15

More than 100 missing after footbridge in Nepal collapses, plunging people into the river below.

At least 15 people have been killed and more than 100 were missing in Nepal Tuesday following the collapse of a suspension bridge. Hundreds of people were using the bridge to reach a religious festival when it gave way in the village of Chunchu, approximately 300 miles west of Nepal's capital of Kathmandu.

Thirty-two people were reported injured.

At least 500 people were on the 120-yard bridge across the Bheri River when it gave way. According to news reports from the remote village, as many as 200 people were still missing as night fell.
