A California woman who shot six coworkers Monday night may have left a seventh victim, police reports indicated.

Police found a body Tuesday night in an apartment complex where the shooter, Jennifer Sanmarco, once lived. Police are investigating whether that victim was also shot by Sanmarco. The victim is a former neighbor of the shooter.

Monday night, Sanmarco opened fire at a California mail processing center, killing five people and then turning the gun on herself. Another person was critically injured.

Police say the woman was an ex-postal worker. More than 300 people work at the mail facility near Santa Barbara. Authorities say more than 50 workers went running from the building when they heard the shots.

There is no word on what prompted the shooting. The investigation into the shooting continued Tuesday.

The U.S. Postal Service is bringing in counselors for the affected families and for workers at the facility.
