A gunman shot and wounded two people before he was apprehended at Case Western Reserve University's business school Friday.

Police sealed off the building as the man periodically fired a rifle more than two hours after the initial shootings.

Fewer students than usual were inside the business school since final exams were over as of last week.

Students and faculty were still hearing gunshots Friday evening, and were staying in the building, many locked in offices or classrooms, too scared to leave.

Police stormed the building but there were reports the gunman may have escaped. Police believe the gunman was not a student.
