KHARAPINI, Nepal | May 7, 2012

Two bodies were found Monday in debris of the Seti River, which flooded Kharapini, Nepal, during the weekend, raising the death toll to 19, officials said.

Forty-five people were unaccounted-for after the flash flood triggered Saturday by a huge slide of snow, ice and mud down the Annapurna Range, The Himalayan Times reported.

Soldiers, police and villagers conducted searches through muddy areas. Officials said excavating equipment was being used.

Searchers rescued three people Sunday, Nepalnews.com reported.
