The government is expanding its health programs, fumigating affected zones, and warning the population

of the dangers of infection.

Several faith-based groups are already operating health programs in high-risk areas, and many are adding

an education component to their daily tasks. The Christian Reformed World Relief Committee is

emphasizing dengue prevention in its existing health programs in the area, as is World Vision.

Groups are considering including training sessions for health officials and families about detection,

transmission, symptoms, and prevention of the disease.
