Sumatra hit by strong quake

Strong earthquake rattles Indonesian island

An earthquake rattled Indonesia's Sumatra island Saturday morning.

The 6.8 magnitude quake struck off the coast, 92 miles southwest of Bengkulu. An advisory said it was not expected to produce a tsunami but warned there could be fluctuations in the tides.
