Damage assessments continued Tuesday in parts of Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas after tornadoes ripped through the region on Sunday.
The National Weather Service reported that four tornadoes touched down across central Arkansas Sunday. Several mobile homes were severely damaged or destroyed in Garland County. Farm damage was reported in Montgomery County.
Perry and Conway counties also saw an F3 tornado damage several homes and businesses.
Tornado damage is also being reported in Cleburne, Hot Spring, Fulton, Van Buren and Pulaski counties. State and county emergency officials are continuing to assess damages.
Kansas and Missouri also faced storm damage. In Kansas, more than 30 homes sustained damage in Fort Riley. Tornadoes were spotted in six other counties in eastern Kansas but damage was relatively minor, according to state emergency management reports.
In Missouri, Clay County emergency management reported damage to businesses but little residential damage.
Two deaths are being blamed on the storms.
