Strong quake hits Tokyo

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake shook Tokyo on Saturday, injuring at least 27 people.

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake shook Tokyo on Saturday, injuring at least 27 people.

The quake was centered about 55 miles underground just east of Tokyo, according to reports from the Japanese Meteorological Agency. There was no danger of tsunami, reports said.

The quake was the strongest to hit Tokyo since 1992.
