A small plane crash in Atlanta Tuesday morning killed two people.

The twin-engine plane with two on-board took off from the Dekalb-Peachtree Airport on its way to Venice, Fla., but crashed into a warehouse shortly before 11 am EST, said a spokesperson for Atlanta Emergency Management. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and no other injuries were reported on the ground.

The cause of the crash is not yet known, but the area was experiencing a rainstorm. The plane crashed near the Martin Luther King, Jr., National Historical site, but the site was undamaged.

Witnesses told a local TV station that they saw the plane spin out of control before hitting the building.
