A small earthquake struck here Nov. 3, causing no injuries and little damage, according to Waverly Person, a geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey.
Person said the quake, which lasted only a few seconds and registered 4.3 on the Richter scale, was felt throughout Nebraska, as well as parts of South Dakota, Minnesota and western Iowa.
O'Neill is about 150 miles north-northwest of Lincoln, Neb.
